Rhys Meyers and Nesbitt Golden Globe nominees



Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Epistle of James Nesbitt are amongst the nominees in the tV categories for the Golden Globe Awards.
Rhys Meyers has been nominated for Topper Actor in a Telly Series (Drama) for his part as Henry 8 in 'The Tudors'.
He is up against Michael C Vestibule ('Dexter'), Jon Hamm ('Mad Men'), Hugh Laurie ('House') and Placard Paxton ('Big Love') in the Best Worker category.
'The Tudors' was also nominated for Topper Television Series (Drama), on with 'Big Love', 'Damages', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'House' and 'Mad Men'.
Northern Irish star Saint James Nesbitt as well bagged a nomination for Best Worker in a Mini-Series or Question Picture for Television for his role in 'Jekyll'.
Likewise nominated were Adam Beach ('Bury My Bosom at Wounded Knee'), Ernest Borgnine ('A Grandad for Christmas'), Jim Broadbent ('Longford') and Jason Isaacs ('The State Within').
'Damages' and 'Longford' both secured the to the highest degree nominations with quatern from each one.
'Damages' star John Herschel Glenn Jr. Close was nominated for Best Actress in a Goggle box Series (Dramatic event) on with Patricia Arquette ('Medium'), Minnie Driver ('The Riches'), Edie Falco ('The Sopranos'), Sallying forth Field ('Brothers & Sisters'), Holly Hunter ('Saving Grace') and Kyra Sedgwick ('The Closer').
'Longford' was nominated for Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV along with 'Bury My Meat at Maimed Knee',  'The Company', 'Five Days' and 'The Department of State Within'.
Along with Broadbent's nominating speech for his part in 'Longford', his co-stars Samantha Ferdinand Joseph La Menthe Morton and Andy Serkis were likewise nominated in the playing categories.
Jelly Roll Morton was nominated for Charles Herbert Best Actress in a Supporting Purpose in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV on with Rose wine Byrne ('Damages'), Rachel Griffiths ('Brothers & Sisters'), Katherine Heigl ('Grey's Anatomy'), Anna Paquin ('Bury My Centre at Wounded Knee') and Jaime Pressly ('My Name Is Earl').
Serkis was nominated for Best Doer in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Apparent movement Pic Made for Tv set along with Teddy boy Danson ('Damages'), Kevin Dillon ('Entourage'), Jeremy Piven ('Entourage'), William Shatner ('Boston Legal') and Donald Joan Sutherland ('Dirty Sexy Money').
On that point were as well nominations for 'Extras', '30 Rock', 'Ugly Betty' and 'Californication'. The awards ceremony will be held on 13 January 2008.
